Walsall 6 and Arconic 2

For three weeks (27th March to 18th April), eight activists will be going on trial in Wolverhampton Crown Court, with two cases being tried together. Two of the activists scaled and occupied the Arconic factory in Birmingham in June 2021, taking down the firm responsible for both producing Grenfell’s deadly cladding, as well as producing materials for Israel’s fighter jets. Their case has been combined with that of six activists arrested in a vehicle in Walsall, charged with going equipped and possession of items to commit criminal damage.
