Last December, four Welsh activists took action at the Teledyne Labtech factory in Presteigne, Wales. Teledyne and their subsidiaries are the largest supplier of weapons from Britain to Israel, and their Labtech factory specialises in circuit boards and technologies used in a wide range of weapons.
The activists were remanded into custody following their arrest, and will each have spent a total of 152 days in prison by the time of their trial – by far the longest imprisonment of any Palestine Action activists. The police allege hundreds of thousands of pounds of damage was caused at the site, and from the 9th May the activists will make their case that #TeledyneIsGuilty in a trial expected to last for two weeks.
