Introduction to Palestine Action

A century of British complicity and enabling of Palestine’s colonisation – from the Balfour declaration in 1917, to supplying Israel with tanks in 1967 to displace 325,000 Palestinians – and it continues today, with Israel’s largest arms company, Elbit Systems, operating on British soil.

For almost as long, support for Palestine in Britain has been constrained to petitions, letters and rallies levelled at the powers at be – those who have taken an active part in aiding the occupation of Palestine.

It’s time to go straight to the source of the violence – those who make the drones that rain fire on Palestinian men, women and children, the bullets that cut through bodies, the chemical weapons that burn Palestinian flesh to the bone.

Elbit Systems hold eight sites in Britain – formerly ten, after Palestine Action permanently closed two, through unrelenting direct action.
