The #Ferranti2 Sentencing

Eight activists from XR North and Palestine Action blockaded all entrances and occupied the overhang of Oldham’s Israeli weapons factory in February 2021. They successfully #ShutElbitDown. After the action, six out of the eight had their charges dropped, leaving two to head to trial for charges of “criminal damage”.

The two have been told by a Judge that they have no defences in law, despite acting to prevent the greater crime committed by Israel’s largest weapons firm. In spite of this judgement, the activists are adamant they’ll state their case in front of a jury and fight to prove #ElbitIsGuilty, they are not!
