Last year, an actionist was unjustly convicted of obstruction of the highway in Manchester Magistrates Court, after blockading the entrance to the now-closed Ferranti factory in Oldham, Elbit’s arms factory that they have since abandoned.
On the 2nd of May, the activist will be appealing this conviction, and support should turn out from 9:00am on the 2nd at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court, M1 3FS, for the one-day appeal hearing.
